Not Really Goodbye

Dear Kindred Spirits in Christ,

I've been writing my blog for several years now. It all began with the passing of my son Grant in 2019. Then came the grief, then a quickened faith, and finally the book, Lamentations of the Heart - Mingled with Peace and Joy. This blog has been an extension of my faith, of wanting to reach out to others. But life unfolds in chapters, and everything alters in time, with the exception of God, Who is eternal and unchanging.

Therefore, I've made the decision to bring this chapter of my journey to an end. I will be writing in Facebook, as the Holy Spirit moves - and if we aren't already FB friends, please send me a request if you would like. I would love to have you. My book is still available on Amazon, and will always be available through MSI Press, which is the publisher.

For those of you who have experienced the loss of an adult son, I moderate a world-wide FB group called Mothers Healing after the Loss of an Adult Son, where thousands of us gather to comfort each other, to share our emotions and Christian faith, and precious pictures and memories. Not every mother in the group has faith. I try to plant seeds for them and hold us all in prayer.

We are connected forever as Christians and will reunite in God's perfect timing. It will be a wonderful moment that I look forward to with great anticipation. Until then, I want to thank each of you for supporting me, contributing with commentary and letting me know in different ways that your hearts have been touched. All glory to Father God and to Jesus Christ, our King of kings and Lord of lords!

I'll close now by telling you that I have a hug waiting for each of you when we enter His magnificent kingdom!

Love Always,

Marti
